A great day of volunteer recycling, sorting, packing, and machine learning at the Magazine Literacy Bank

Thank you to all the volunteers and supporters who came out to the Magazine Literacy Bank at the Atrium Company warehouse in Johnstown, Ohio, just outside Columbus, Saturday.

People dropped off beautiful recycled magazines to share with new readers, including boxes of magazines picked up by long-time volunteer, Kaitlyn, at a senior adult community wanting to share their magazines with kindred at-risk readers.

Volunteers picked-up boxes of magazines for delivery to at-risk readers via area schools, food pantries, shelters, job training, mentoring, and other literacy programs, including out to the Muskingum Literacy Council in Zanesville.

We sorted and packed magazines for delivery to teachers, food pantries, an Iowa prison literacy program, and more across the USA. and scanned hundreds of magazine covers for the development of our AI/machine learning application for consumers recycling their favorite magazines to us from their homes and businesses.
