Realizing a long-time dream to marry the magazine publishing supply chain – from printer to consumer – with the vast nationwide hunger relief supply chain, and with support from companies like Greg Barber, Quint & Quint, Automattic, Bendyworks, TruScribe, Issuu, Urban Land Interests, and Ryleco, is delivering over 250,000 magazines from Fun for Kidz, Highlights for Children, Cobblestone/Cricket, Conde Nast, Hearst, Active Interest Media, and National Geographic straight to foodbanks, such as the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and Long Island Cares, and other programs for delivery to at-risk readers served by food pantries, homeless and domestic violence shelters, mentoring and job training programs and foster care.
