POP-UP LITERACY – We Need Your Help with a Massive Magazine Sorting Project

Max and Maggie the Literacy Bees“Swarm the stack!” We need your help and lots of help from individuals and groups to sort 15,000 recycled and donated magazines for delivery to children, families, and job trainees for literacy. 
We only have a few weeks to get the job done. Volunteer and help us to spread the word to recruit others.
What: Volunteers and groups are needed to sort magazines for literacy
When: Every weeknight from 6PM to 9PM and Saturday/Sunday during shifts from 10AM and 4PM.
Where: 33 E. Main Street downtown on the Square between Park Bank and Walgreens.
Rise Up for LiteracyMagazineLiteracy.org gets new and recycled magazines to hundreds of thousands of children and families in homeless and domestic violence shelters, mentoring and job training programs, foster care and via food pantries and community literacy programs, here in Madison and nationwide.
